Parish community as an organization can function more effectively, when everyone plays a role and participates actively within one's power limit and God's given talent in order to help in realizing the parochial goal and mission. Working collaboratively is necessary, since everyone is a part of the whole, just as the Church is the mystical body of Christ and we the members are gifted differently to strengthen it by our active participation.
